Hi, I’m Ali (she/her), trained Therapy Dog.

A little bit about me…

I’m the heart of Cedar Physical Therapy and the best Therapy Dog ever. Everyone always wants to know what breed I am, so I’ll just tell you- I’m German Shepard, German Short Hair Pointer and Huskey. Cool right?

Although I have quite the stellar milk beard, I am only 4 years old!

Fun fact: I’ve been training for this job since I was a pup. My mom adopted me from a barn dog litter. I was the last female dog chosen but that’s cool because everyone knows we save the best for last.

I’ve passed dozens of dog classes and have earned my Canine Good Citizen Certification.

As a Therapy Dog, I specialize in providing tactile comfort (laying across their laps or next to them on the treatment table if they invite me up), helping patients feel calmer, and making patients smile.

Outside of work I love long walks on the beach…and around the neighborhood…preferably starting at 5 am which my moms have only sort of gotten used to. I also love agility training, playing with my brothers Luca and Vinnie (I’m smarter and cuter than both of them), eating lots of dog treats and getting chest pets.

Sometimes people are intimated because I am an 80 pound black dog, but once everyone gets to know me they describe me as sweet, amazing, and born for this job.

Ask me to show off a trick at your next appointment!
